Bar / Bat Mitzvah Photographer – Los Angeles

I photograph Bar and Bat Mitzvahs with artistry, care, and a deep understanding of how meaningful this milestone is for families. Having photographed over 200 Mitzvahs across temples and venues throughout Los Angeles, my goal is to create timeless images that capture both the joy and the significance of the day—beautifully, professionally, and without stress.

Before the event, we’ll meet at a location of your choice to photograph your child, along with a few family portraits if you’d like. These images are perfect for montages, temple programs, décor, sign-in boards, and albums. This session also gives us the opportunity to connect, review your priorities, and prepare a thoughtful shot list and timeline so everything feels seamless on the day of the event.

On the day of the Mitzvah, I document the full experience—from temple formals with the Torah and at the bimah, to family portraits and key moments throughout the ceremony, including the Torah procession, candle lighting, and Kiddush. I also capture the celebration that follows, from the hora and dancing to candid moments, games, and group photos. I work alongside an experienced second photographer to ensure every meaningful moment is covered from multiple perspectives.

After the event, you’ll receive a Sneak Peek Gallery shortly after the celebration, followed by a full gallery of over 300 high-resolution, fully edited images ready for download, sharing, and printing.
